Since first opening its doors in 1987, Il Palio Ristorante has been known for its vibrant yet intimate atmosphere and fine cuisine. The restaurant’s owners, who are of Italian origin, are dedicated to providing the fine Italian food and wines one typically experiences only in a large cosmopolitan setting. As a result, Il Palio has consistently been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award and is acclaimed by Condé Nast — organizations representing the highest standards of hospitality throughout the USA and the world.
Il Palio’s décor combines the rich colors and fabrics of a sumptuous Italian villa with contemporary European touches. The restaurant is named after Il Palio delle contrade, a horse race held twice a year in the city of Siena, Italy. Every participating horse and rider represents one of the seventeen contrade, or city districts, each distinguished by its individual coat of arms. These exciting races are accompanied by magnificent pageants, feasts and celebrations!
